About
Dataschema Base is a Bangkok desk devoted to fixed-income yield curve tracking and the market analysis that surrounds it.
Origin
We began as a small group of fixed-income analysts who spent too many auction weeks explaining the same curve questions in hurried hallway conversations. Clients asked for a quieter room, a prepared note, and someone who would stay with the Thai government curve through policy weeks rather than rotating off to another asset class. Dataschema Base was formed to answer that request from our office on Ratchadaphisek Road.
How we work
Every engagement starts with the tenors and decision you name. We gather public curve data, auction history, and policy context, then meet your team in person or on a scheduled call. Written notes follow while the discussion is still fresh. We keep language concrete: level, slope, curvature, carry, roll-down, and auction supply — not slogans.
People
Our analysts come from treasury, asset management, and sell-side rates backgrounds in Thailand and the wider ASEAN region. We are not a brokerage. We do not run a trading book for clients. The value is interpretation, preparation, and a second pair of eyes before you act inside your own mandate.
Values
- Clarity over volume: fewer pages, stronger narrative
- Respect for client compliance and information barriers
- Local market rhythm: Bangkok clocks, Thai auction calendars, regional reference curves when useful
- Honest limits: we say when a move is ambiguous
Community and place
Working from Bangkok keeps us close to local auction weeks, Bank of Thailand communication days, and the conversations happening across treasury floors in the city. Visiting clients are welcome by appointment at Level 10, 57 Ratchadaphisek Road.
